Regina is from Rajasthan, an ordained minister of the Church of North India. She graduated with BA (Hons) from Maharani's College, Jaipur in 1975, Bachelor of Religious Education 1978 (Union Biblical Seminary), Master in Divinity 1984 (Serampore), MA 1998 (Communication, Wheaton College, USA), MCS 2002 (Regent College, Canada), LLB 2012 (Kakatiya University, Warangal), and PhD. 2014 (Intercultural Education), Biola University, CA, USA.
IMPACT was born in 2007 out of our combined passion for justice and equality. The living conditions of the rural Dalits in the Schedule Caste colonies is indescribably deplorable. We recognized that in order to bring about community transformation we needed to have a multi-pronged approach, i.e., quality education for the children, skills development for the youth, including teaching spoken English to those with college education, secondary income-generating skills and employment for the semi-literate women who are, most often, the sole bread-winner in the family, and awareness and medical intervention for the entire communities.
